Passover Charoset

April 18, 2019 by simply paleo

Charoset is a delicious, sweet and pasty dish traditionally made of fruit and nuts. It is typically served during Passover as part of the Passover seder. There are many ways to make charoset and depending on what part of Europe and Asia the recipe is from makes a marked difference. This charoset is a recipe that I found at www.elanaspantry.com which is a fantastic blog! Throughout the year, but especially during apple harvest season, this dish is particularly yummy because it is often made with apples. This year’s honeycrisp apples hold up beautifully in the dish because of the firm texture and sweet flavor.
