Chocolate seed & nut bites (gluten-free, paleo-friendly)
Ingredients
  • 1/2cup hemp seeds
  • 1/2cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4cup chia seeds
  • 1/2cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2cup almonds, chopped
  • 1/4tsp sea salt
  • 1/2cup Karen’s Naturals Just Cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4cup raw cocao powder(can substitute with unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • 1/4cup maple syrup (or other natural sweetener)You can reduce the sweetener amount in this recipe if trying to reduce sugar more.
  • 1/3cup unsweetened sunbutter(can substitute with any type of unsweetened nut butter)
Instructions
  1. Add all seeds and nuts and cocoa powder in large bowl and mix well.
  2. Add maple syrup and stir until seed/nut mixture is wet and sticky.
  3. Add nut butter and mix well.
  4. Line container with parchment paper.
  5. Spoon mixture into parchment paper lined container.
  6. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper and use knuckles to push mixture down and flatten/spread out through container.
  7. Refrigerate overnight, then cut into preferred bite sizes and enjoy!
