Today I'm writing you about one of my favorite Paleo inventions. Paleonola! This stuff is good, and by good I mean flipping incredible. It's grain free Paleo granola! There are so many ways to incorporate this stuff into your Paleo life. Don't you just crave crunchy granola sometimes? And no, they're not paying me to write this
So the first way I eat this stuff is just like cereal. I eat it with coconut milk and fresh berries. Sometimes I might get wild and throw in some peaches. It's a great breakfast.
The next way you can use this stuff is in making Paleo treats. It would make a great topping for any type of cobbler or you can pack it into muffin cups for a crust. I haven't done this yet but I'm thinking of making my Strawberry Mini Pie Cups again and using this as a base instead.
For my weekly treat, I sprinkle some over coconut milk ice cream. My favorite is Luna and Larry's and Coconut Bliss Ice Cream. I LOVE the vanilla bean. I will tell you that this ice cream has agave nectar as a sweetener, so this is why it's my treat. I try to avoid added sweeteners :).
You can see that I have 3 different kinds of Paleonola. I think my favorite is the apple pie flavor although it's really hard to choose (as you can see I'm almost out!). It has wonderful flavors of cinnamon, apples and pecans.
Here are the ingredients: almonds, pecans, honey, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, coconut oil, sunflower seeds, dried apples, almond meal, unsweetened shredded coconut, pure vanilla extract and spices. That's it! Ingredients you can actually understand and no inflammatory grains.
So try something new, check out their website hyper linked above and prepare for your first shipment which is pretty much like Christmas.
